Feeding Therapy
Navigating the school system can feel overwhelming, with parents often feeling outnumbered and unprepared for Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings. Hope Comprehensive Center offers IEP support to its clients. We can review existing IEPs, help revise old goals or draft new goals, and attend IEP meetings. During these meetings we recommend modifications and accommodations to the plan as appropriate, propose new or revised goals, and help ensure that your wishes are heard and honored by the IEP team.
Quick Tips
As a guardian you can request an IEP meeting at any time- you do not have to wait for the scheduled annual review.
If you’re unhappy with the school district’s assessment you have the right to request another assessment at no additional cost to you.
If the scheduled IEP meeting date and time don’t fit your schedule, you can request that it is moved to a time that works for you.
